Kettle Foods: A Focus on Sustainability
Our group, with the guidance of Kaitlyn, an account executive on the digital public affairs team at Edelman, decided our main tactic would be to create a blog presence directly for our client, Kettle Foods. The story that our client wants to tell is about sustainability and their environmental efforts in production plants. We want to create relationships with the sustainability blog community online. Included in this strategy would be things like podcasts, coupon promotions, a mobile video campaign and more. We talked about focusing our message of sustainability to include not only green environmental blogs but also to food blogs. This could be another avenue to get the sustainability message out there to bloggers concerned with healthy or organic food and environmentally friendly food companies. Along with this blog strategy we brainstormed as a group and thought of some Facebook tactics that could go along with and compliment our presence in the blogoshpere.
