Small Group Session One: Aveda
Our first small group session will focus on creating campaign-specific tactics for our client.
For our client, Aveda, the focus is to inform audiences that Aveda is one of the first companies to “go green”. They have been using all natural and organic ingredients for over 30 years. It will be important for us to show their history of healthy practices. It will also be important for Aveda to reach out to a younger, college-aged audience by creating an official Facebook page and a Twitter presence. Reaching out to males through sustainability blogs will also help Aveda. We also think that they should re-design their website and make it more interactive. It should strengthen its focus on men and highlight their commitment to being environmentally friendly.

That sounds like a really interesting client. I never thought that a make-up company would think about going green and being environmentally friendly. Also interesting that have basically been green for so long, that seems like it would help you a lot!
